So have I. :( Unfortunately, even if you did make it to the doctor, prescription flu medications do nothing except reduce the length of the illness by 1 day on average. The best treatment is still what you did. Not a believer in flu shots? I wasn't able to get one this year because of a respiratory infection.

Then, as the infection was clearing, I corroded my respiratory tract with vapors from a bathroom cleaner which contained 25 percent sodium hydroxide and 13 percent bleach, and a few other nasty ingredients. So I've been on steroids the last several days to get back to normal. Whatever that is.</description>
