Cool. Not many hotels come complete with Wired magazine in the rooms–this one with Hiro Nakamura on the cover. Watah!

So, I got all caught up in the American Idol Gives Back thing from last week. I watched it, saw Josh Groban and was mildly entertained by the celebrities doing some weird song. I enjoyed the whole Carrie Underwood song (so I bought it on iTunes) and had fun seeing Jack Black do his thing.
So I figured that I would donate some money and help out those kids in Africa and the US.
When I received my credit card statement, I looked and saw a charge from Idol Gives Back.
However, it was from Beverly Hills.
So, I ask that Idol not only give back, but move out to cheaper rent locales. The whole Idol thing doesn’t need to move, but the place that runs the charges could relocate to, say, San Bernardino or something. Seriously, I can only imagine the faces of the many people from different parts of the US who get a statement and wonder what on earth they must have charged in Beverly Hills.

So I haven’t been able to sleep completely well for the past few nights. Why? Oh yeah, I was in a pretty major car accident on Monday. I am still pretty sore from the whiplash. The car is pretty banged up (as in, it’s pretty much missing the front half of the engine compartment and the doors won’t open). My back is in a state of ouch. I just thought I’d give you guys an update.
Also, I have some Joost invites to give out. Just send me an email and (if you are one of the lucky early ones), you shall be granted access. What is Joost? It is TV anywhere, anytime (so long as you’ve got high speed internet access and some type of Intel-based PC).
It’s pretty cool. I was watching some MTV stuff. And I don’t even get cable. Sick! I hear that CNN is joining them.
Well, with all this down time, I know what I’ll be doing. I’ll be playing with my joost.

This is the Pontiac Solstice (older sister vehicle of the Saturn Sky–the much desired vehicle of yours truly). However, it’s been redone by Mallett to include a V8 and some vehicular tuning. What you have is this friggin’ beautiful thing:
