If we pick up the version at UCSD, do we have to do it again in a couple months to get the version 2?

And once you get a digital workflow set up in Lightroom, and you process all your images there, and only send them out to Photoshop when needed… You really see the power of it. Organizing thousands of photos effortlessly for you based on shoot and import time, keywords, ratings, colored flags, “picks”, “rejects’. And then you get virtual copies and stacking. Accomplish all that with anything but Lightroom or Aperture and I’ll give you a cookie. Accomplish it with Aperture in under an hour and still love your computer and I’ll make the cookies from scratch.

Hmm… I’ll have to think of something. Or, when we go shooting at UCSD, perhaps we could stop in the bookstore where you can pick it up for $99. Then you and Trisha each have a license—and both Mac and Win come in the box. :) Like Macromedia software, it has a floating license, too, so it’ts not nodelocked like CS3.

It does, doesn't it? I'm a solid Lightroom fan. Well, obviously. I might be convinced to part with my second license.
